That location (back ground) kind of looks like lake Whitney in McCown Valley Park with the FM1713 bridge in the back ground.

Sorry to not respond quickly as I do not get to the computer as often. Those two pictures are fish caught on Texoma on jigs and the fish shown are not all the fish caught (10 fish per person limit), those are only those we hung up. You can see the 377 bridge in the background.

I guide on numerous lakes including Whitney, PK, Granbury, Proctor, Bridgeport, Benbrook, Lewisville, Ray Hubbard, Texoma, Tawakoni. I also on occasion guide for Reds on Tradinghouse Creek.

Some of the golden algae affected lakes on the Brazos are not as good as others, but many still want to go to these lakes. I am catching good keeper stripers on Whitney. Granbury has some of the biggest sandbass I have seen in years on the upper ends (there are tons of small fish in the main lake) actually caught a 3lb sandbass a few weeks back. Benbrook is producing some big hybrids to 8 lbs. There are numerous 17 to 18 inch fish, but they are growing fast. Best day this winter on Benbrook is 75 hybrids all on artificials. I have had some great trips on Ray Hubbard lately as well.

If none of these folks want to go you can call your ex fishing guide buddy and take him. I don't pay so well but I do clean fish.

I haven't much of a chance to get to Proctor lately. Before the flood water last year, Proctor reports were excellent. Almost as good as several years back. My last time there was after the flood waters receded (late summer 2007). Thermocline was only 8 feet down that day. We caught unbelievable numbers of sandbass as they schooled all morning and several hybrids under them. If the flood did not send the majority of the hybrids downstream as floods have done in the past, Proctor should be great. We will just have to find out!

Give me a call when you are not working. Sorry could not make the Texoma event (would have liked to). I had a trip on Benbrook. Caught some really nice hybrids to 7lbs.
