Can we modify the original post and clarify if you actually own the boat versus making payments on the boat. I think these posts are a little overwhelming for the common man because they tend to facilitate the bad spending habits most of America needs no help with. How many boats do you "own" (and by own we mean are not making payments on). Thanks for the clarification.

I own (fully...no bank loans needed) and use 3 boats: a 9 foot Mini-X kayak a 12 foot Redfish kayak and a 14 foot X-factor kayak  We used to have a boat, but I couldn't handle getting it on and off the trailer by myself and no one else ever seemed to want to spend all day on the water.  Plus, I got tired of paying for gas.

I have 2. 2000 Skeeter 202 (almost paid for) and a old 16' Polarcraft flatbottom with a Mercury 200 20hp (paid for) that I use for duck hunting and creek fishing.
