Well, we headed down to Rockport and the weather was definately not cooperating for kayak fishing. We decided to try some shrimp in the canal behind the house where we usually catch mostly hard-heads.

We got rigged up and within a few minutes, we hooked about a 45 lb. big ugly.

Family pic...

Wasn't long until Courtney hooked up...

It was eatin' size...

After a break for supper, we hit it again. Wasn't too long until Easily Yakked hooked a biggie!!

Here he is with his beauty and the beast...

Me and the girls had to catch another...

After a few more, we called it a nite. We were eager to get back out there this morning after breakfast. Wasn't long until Chloe hooked the biggest of the weekend. She fought this fish for at least 30 minutes and we finally netted him for some great pics. What a Blast!!!!!

Here is one happy young lady...

Wow what a blast. Love to see the youngsters getting into some fish that will set them for life. They are "hooked", as you probably already know.. good luck sneaking out of the house without the "whole" family now. My son's are 1 1/2 and 3 can't wait until they are put on sime fish like that and they are "hooked" for life. Great pics.

Woah, some nice ones. I have 2 girls a 10 yr & 7yr. both of them have pulled 2-day out straight with me a few times. My 10 yr old didnt sleep a wink those days out.. It's always great to see the kids enjoy fishing.
