Many of you on TFF know who John Varner is and perhaps some of you don't. You may also know that John & I do quite a bit of fishing together and that we do very well. John has definitely gotten his fishing act together big time since I've known him. He knows what to look for on the depth finder and the seasonal patterns are really clicking with him. He has worked hard and diligently to get to this point and I would expect him to keep on achieving goals in his love for fishing. He gets more of a thrill out of watching others catch fish, more so than catching them himself and that is the mark of a great guide.

He's a great family man with an understanding wife and a great friend to many, many people. I consider his friendship most awesome, the best friend I could ever want!

Great post! I agree JV4 Nitro! My husband and I went to John's seminar last year about reading a graph and I lost my notes. John was more than happy to make sure my memory was accurate. Just from those experiences I can tell John Varner is genuine!
