Works for me if you can get it fought down and brought to gaff before it makes the fence. Of course if you are in a county with the Antler restrictions you will probably have to either net it or lip it so it can be released if it is not big enough.

sounds like an adventure! Maybe I could come up with deer skiing.....a off-road, land-bound ski I could ride on whilst deer angling. After all, I may get pulled for quite a ways.
