With everyone on here talking about creek fishing I was thinking about giving it a try. I know that the rivers like the Leon that feed Proctor Lake are not creeks but I was wondering if they will get up in the rivers that feed the lake this time of year. They aren't big rivers but aren't what I think of when I hear "creeks". Thanks for you opinions in advance.

Yes, the Leon is more like a creek this time of the year. Takes alot of searching to find the fish.

Regards,
Mud

The Leon has always been shallow from what i remember. It would only be productive if it is moving during the Spring and the fish will move up in it. I would stick to the main lake points or go past Promitory Point and when the lake bends back to the right, stay left and the is a large hump right off a point. This is directly across from the third small inlet that are on the right side. I am not good at directions but I hope you understand.
