I have to second what moonlitsbass said, book a trip with JD Lyle. JD will get you and your friends on fish and his boat has plenty and I mean plenty of room for all of you. You can vist JD's website for more info at www.texomaguide.com/

Sorry guys, but my experience has been with Chris Carey of Striper Express and that is who I have to stay with for recommendations. Go to www.striperexpress.com for one of the best trips of your life.

I second that motion for JD Lyle. I have a boat, live in Denton and didn't think twice when my family over Christmas wanted to go. Honest, Professional and Patient. He is one of few guides that I have met that will spend time teaching you how to fish. I picked up some great pointers and they had a blast! Hey if nothing else, everyone needs to ride in the pumpkin at least once. Can't say enough.

Book a trip with JD. He has a big boat. And you can fish instead of worrying about boat control.thumb

I took a guided trip last spring with the world's worst guide on Texoma. Not going to mention names, and his name is NOT above either.

We put in at Lighthouse, motored across the marina and tied off to a boat slip and fished live shad the entire 4 hours while listening to him cry about how cold he was etc...

Only good thing that come from that trip is that we did catch the fish....

canjunbass, Be sure to ask the guide what happens if you get lucky and limit out in 1-2 hours after leaving the dock. A lot of Texoma guides will bring you straight back to the dock and want a full days pay plus most don't want to catch and release.

I have gone with JD several times. I highly recommend him to everyone. He will provide you a great time, gear, boat, and a ton of fishing knowledge. It is very difficult to find someone that can put all the above together in one package.
