I think the marina has one of the Corps maps. I don't know if they're still closed or not. If open you can ask Elmo or Brenda if they have a map. Until then you'll find some good info on my web site about Navarro Mills Lake Net4U Map

The marina won't be open until Feb., according to the web-site. You can go to http://www.lonestarlakes.com/ and get a topo map of NM. I think you have to register to access the map, but it's free.

The parks will give you maps if you go to one of the parks on either side of the dam. They are kinda cheesey but they give you a basic layout of the lake, coves and creeks. They are open, I drove out there yesterday

We duck hunted there years ago and have fished there occaisionally. I have never seen a map of Nav Mills in a store. We have an old topo map but the lake has pretty much silted in. The main creek channel runs along the south bank and wanders through the trees. About mid-lake is an old feeder creek that runs to the west northwest up into one of the coves. There are or used to be trees along that creek as well. If you are looking for Crappie I have read where people catch them near the Northeast end of the dam. Also I have seen the locals fish the trees in the vicinity of the ramp on the Dawson side. In April one year my ex-brother and law and I caught a lot of sandbass on the flats on the North side of the lake between Wolf creek and the dam.
