2nd Fredricksburg. Google the brewandbed. Its like 14 Rooms on top of the local brewery. Tons of lady stuff to do in Fredricksburg and lots of good food, beer, and local music.

Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

Ditto on Fredricksburg. We stayed there last summer but we were not in a bed and breakfast. We stayed in a very, very, very nice house about 8 miles outside off town way of on a county road. Very nice house with an outdoor fireplace, really nice joint. Yet affordable. If you are wanting in town this is not the place, however if you want the outdoors feel at a very nice place then feel free to PM me.

Aside from that, my woman loved everything that the town had to offer. Great place to take her. If you go into the right places they will give you a glass of wine for free to take the edge off. After about 4 shops like this, you won't give a s#!) where you and her go.

Gruene Hall. Nice little atmosphere year round. Restaurants, dancing, shopping, bed-n-breakfast etc...
