Doyle & Phillis owners of MIDSOUTH TACKLE has joined my list of great sponsors. They have the largest line of tube jigs that I have ever seen and the prices are very good. You can order directly from them. I would also suggest getting your jigheads from them, the lead barb that holds the tube up is a lot longer than most so you won't have as much trouble with the tube slipping down. MidSouth Tackle is the home the Super Jig check out their web site and you will see what I mean. [url] www.midsouthtackle.com [url]. Cliff

they do have quite a color selection
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

How long are their plastic jigs? And I don't think they have pics of the jig heads on the site yet. Or I am missing it.

Cliff,
This sounds great and am happy to have them. I do fish tubes from time to time and those darn jig heads/hooks I get don't hold the tubes on very well.
For the time being, I'll probably order couple different size jig heads/hooks from them. Right now, I have too many plastics to count, though I wouldn't mind getting some motor-oil or watermelon colored jig bodies.
Thanks for the link!

If you know these folks, please let them know they need more information about their products. I'm very interested but need to know if the tubes are hollow and how long they are, stuff like that. Seem like good prices. Not complaining just trying to help and get more info. Jim

Darn, after looking at their selection, I may have to add a few more colors/combos outside of watermelon and motor-oil. Some caught my eye for sure.
If anyone has a killer color they use on our area lakes outside of those two colors I just mentioned in a tube/plastic, lemme' know through a PM and I'll order some.
I already have plenty of chart/black, blue/white, pink/black, and red/chartreuse, so don't need any more of those color combos. And prefer hollow over solid, so I can squeeze some nibbles in there from time to time.
I may need to cull some non-used tubes I have in there right now.

Doyle & Phyllis Hudson are great people. MidSouth's tube jigs are the best I have used. Been a customer for several years. I have a boat house ploe that Doyle made by hand. They are out of the rod business for now, but will buy more if they start making again. These are some true honest folks that will talk to you about fishing and help in anyway they can.

They are super people, and I have used there jigs for years. I have only one complaint with them, there minimum shipping charge is $8.50. That is the reason I don't order from them, I order there same jigs from other dealers that charge much less on shipping. I don't understand chargering that much on shipping something as small as jigs. Sorry MidSouth Tackle.

cowdog they are hollow, 2 inches long. They have a thicker front than most witch will help them from tearing. I didn't notice that they did not have the jig heads listed but if not you can get them, Just call them and im sure they will be very informative.

Sheldon I was very happy with the show. I did get some deposits on trips plus I look for many more trips out of it come spring and summer. I did get some new sponsors plus I met some good people from TFF and around the area. Cliff
