Nice pictures. Any close ups of the birds? i havent got all of the pics e-mailed to me yet, but i think we got some close ups. they are mostly teal, blue wings, green wings, and one beautiful cinnamon. we havent had a cinnamon teal taken on the place since the 70's. i spent a little too much at the taxidermist yesterday. a lot of gadwalls and golden eyes this year. i had one pintail land in my spread before shooting time. as soon as it was time to shoot, someone on another pond spooked him off before i could get a shot.

Man, Cinnamon are beautiful. Teals are one of the most fun to hunt. They'll cut on dime.

they are beautiful birds- saw a mount of one at a guys' house in Cleburne
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Great pic...looks like fun. I've been to Eagle Lake area once in the early 80's to goose hunt and stayed at the old Farris Hotel in town. What a great trip...

What a great trip... im fortunate enough to have a friend of the family with 900 acres down there. ive hunted it for about 14 years, and every year it seems to get better. a lot of rain this year spread the birds out, but we still did really well.
