Yeah, the last time I was out, I caught 'em on Fireman's Hump. I have located about five pretty productive humps over the years, but Fireman's is the only one actually on the map.

BNKrust, it's pretty easy to find. It's in that big bay across from Lynn Creek Marina that has the abandoned launch ramp. I think they call it party cove. If you start out at that ramp and point your boat toward the end of the point on the other side of the cove, you will cross it--it's much closer to the point side than the ramp side--you have 30-35ft flats all over, and then this hump rises up. It's 20ft. on most of the top, but there is a small peak at about 15. I generally find the 20 ft level, throw a marker out and then idle around until I see the pods of baitfish--then it's game on!

Hope this helps--

Wayne

He just told you were it was BNK he described it good. He is trying to keep the others to himself. I think he should send me PM of were those other humps are at.

No not yet still haven't sold it but I would like to sell it. Still looking for someone to buy it. There was a lot of people that wanted to come and look it over the holiays but our times never matched. So I dont know what happened to those guys.

Bob, I may have fished them---just don't know them by name. Jason, you know one of my favorite humps---You pulled up by me on it last summer just after I boated a 7 lber!! As far as the other three, I'm sure you know them. If not, I'll be happy to share. Little complicated to describe, but I could show you anytime.

Yeah I like that spot it is a good one. But as for Sand Bass hmm I haven't graphed sand bass on it. On Firemans hump I have also on the flats outside of Lynn Creek Park

Sweet. I haven't fished party cove much because much of the summer, I couldn't with all the boat traffic. But I think I know where it is... I know of a couple more I think towards Loyd Park, but haven't caught anything off of them... yet.

Thanks Wayne. And Jason.

I was hoping to have money to buy a boat last fall, but it didn't happen. It looks sweet. Wish I could have it. Alas...

I'm going out there today while I can get some 60 degree weather. I've never been skunked on the Pool so watch me go out today and get Zero'd. Heck it's been so long since I've taken my boat out that I really don't care at this point...I just want to get out! I'll let you guys know how it goes this evening. The last time I went out which was around 3 weeks ago I fished rocks and caught some nice JP slots on Grandebass Rattlesnakes. I hope they are still there but we'll see very very shortly.

Hmm I wonder how he did out there? LOL

Erine did you catch some fish?

I was out there monday and caught 1 on the first cast. Then 5 minutes later my batteries went dead on my trolling motor. So I pretty much had to leave becaue the wind was blowing me around the lake.

I told you not to buy the T-motor that uses "D" Cell batteries! You got to get one with real batteries like 24volts of them! banana

Jason-

To answer your question on how I did yesterday.....I keep my boat in the covered storage there at the marina so I hook my boat up....get to the ramp and back it into the water and attempt to start it and guess what? My batteries were all dead. The last time I had been out (3-4 weeks ago) I didn't plug in the charger cuz I knew it would be a while before I got to get out again. So all this was after I drove down to the gas station and filled up. You talk about being PO'd. So now my batteries are charged...tank is full...and it will probably be for ever before the weather lets me out again..........

Good Times...

Bundle up warm and go for it, Ernie! You know better than to wait for good weather in Texas! (BTW we got a light snow right now here in north Georgia) thumb

Erine that sucks!

But at least you did plug it the batteries right?

Sounds like it should be good fishing Bob. Better get out there and hit the lake.
