I still have 2 boron rods from the 80's. boron was going to be the next big thing. they are just about perfect for crappie fishing though.

I still have 2 boron rods from the 80's. boron was going to be the next big thing. they are just about perfect for crappie fishing though. I remember the boron rods. I still have mine - somewhere. Field and Stream had an article on Carrot Stix where they reviewed some new gear. It was in the Dec-Jan mag. Supposedly, they are sold at Cabela's. That's to far for me so maybe someone else who shops there and provide their impression.
