Today I went to get chicken livers and ended up with beef livers. I am sure they will work just fine, but thought I would ask to see if anyone uses them or should I just throw them out?

You should probably try using them. Beef liver will probably stay on your hook longer, but doesn't hold as much moisture as chicken liver. Feel free to report on your success!

Beef liver stays on the hook, but I have not had much luck with it. Sure Shot + Chum always brings good results.

Sure Shot...

My partner has real good luck with chicken liver, cutting his bait with sissors before putting it on a kale hook. I'm hooked on sour grain and sure shot.. Good luck

Call Benny Roberts at 940-627-7302 or catfishbait.net. It is a very good punch bait. Use a 6 or 4 treble hook, punch it in the bait pull it out at an angle to get a good bait on the hook, chum with sout grain and go to the bottom. If no fish in 15 to 30 min. move to a different location.. Just a little trial an error and you will be loading your freezer. good luck

I like to use chicken hearts and gizzards, mixed with chicken livers!
they work great!

I would rather have a bad day fishing, than a good day at the office!
