I've tried the foot control units and went back to my simpler and less expensive hand control unit. I have bad circulation in my legs and when I tried to stand with one foot on the control unit for very long, it just became impossible. Using the hand controlled unit with a long extension handle, I can fish all day and my legs never get tired. Just my two cents worth.

Wow. Only four posts before this turned into another "Hand control versus foot control" thread. Is that a record or something?

Nice link. What will someone think of next. I better get busy. I like the foot control. Hands free to fish.

I'm wireless, so I don't have foot problems.

matter of fact, I do. I have the wireless foot control mounted, but also have a clip on hand control. you can be anywhere and control the boat.
Even set at the console and graph while using the TM.
