Found out yesterday morning. Yeah, there may be something we can do about it! Check out my thread here: Click Here There will be no going out of business sales and they are not moving! They will be packing their goods up and sending them back to the distribution center.

Sportsman's Warehouse lands $325m loan
GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending has provided a $325 million asset-based loan to Sportsman's Warehouse, a Utah-based outdoor sporting goods retailer.
The financing will be used to fund working capital needs.
"We now have a smarter loan structure that provides us with greater liquidity," said Stuart Utgaard, chief executive of Sportsman's Warehouse.
With its headquarters in Midvale, Sportman's Warehouse has locations throughout the country selling equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories for hunting, fishing and camping

The HWY 151 location here in San Antonio is closing as well and is having 30% most items now. The 281 store will remain open. They quoted me $700.00 for a $999.00 Humminbird Side Imaging unit.

I was there today and was told they are closing end of January. Pretty good sale going on with most items being 30% off. Picked up a Falcon Cara for about $87 (before sales tax).
Saw a lot of what I am pretty sure were guides and they were loading up on soft plastics at 30% off...
There was probably at least 25 people waiting to get in before the store opened...

I was there yesterday. Everything is on sale. Sonar and GPS was 20% off. I walked out the door with a new GLX loomis, Shimano Castaic SF, black dog swimbait, and some worms and lucky craft baits. I saved a bunch of money, but I also spent money that I wouldn't have otherwise. Anyway, it is always good to get a deal.
There were tons of people there. There were not a ton of Shimano or Daiwa reels left, only left hand stuff. They did have a good selection of rods still. They also had some abus and quantams left. They have all the hunting, clothing, optics and other stuff on sale. There seems to still be a decent selection of all that stuff.

Am I the only one to believe the Lewisville store location was one of the reasons for its closing?
What a god awful location it was at. I only went there one time.
