CU200B was the designation for the green Curados. I think the new one is a CU200D.

I buy all my CU-201's off Ebay and haven't had a problem yet with one. Besides even if they do run shotty just upgrade 2 parts and they reels are ready to go.
Actually the B designates the 1994 upgrade from the A models. Which included upgraded parts, more bearings, et

I see good ones show up on bassboatcentral's rod/reel sale forum. I just sold 2 that were in great shape a month ago. There were actually 2 new ones in the box listed a week or so ago.

Rodeo fan, I have one that is almost spotless. I just cleaned and lubed the bearings 2 months ago. I don't even fish with it much. Problem is, it costs $150 to buy a new comparable reel. Southwestern Parts has had one or 2 on the used reel rack the last few times I've been there. They don't always look great, but they will be sound mechanically. They usually get about $90 for them.
If I were going to spend $150 or more, I would buy a Chronarch SF on eBay. I've seen at least a dozen decent ones sell in the $150 range the last few weeks, and they are great reels. I have 9, and I only purchased 1 new. I purchased 5 from Southwestern parts before they went out of production.
