The smartest thing anyone said on here was "go to fun n sun". Dont waste your time with these posts! People are too brand loyal to tell the truth or more imporantly, SEE THE TRUTH..

Why would anyone buy a boat without being in them and/or operating themselves anyway???

Agee with Mike on bass boats in rough water. The driver is more important than the boat. Four words will make them all ride a little better in rough water "slow down a little". Lots of tournaments are won in less than an hour, so sometimes the time it takes to get to and from your fishing places is overrated. Even the new wider Champions do not ride as good as the older narrow ones, but they are more stable and fish better. So look the boats over, ride in each and be sure to fish some from each and you will give one a slight edge over the other one based on your own preferences, not other folk's.

twwhitetail maybe you misinterpreted but i wont post on here again so dont waste your time replying...you dont need a SPECIFIC brand to run rough water..most top tier boats get the job done..are you confused still? The poster is asking about ranger and skeeter, is that confusing still?

Of course you dont need a specific brand to run rough water, any 20'er with a decent driver should be able to nav rough conditions. Now if you do not want to get beat to death, be able to run a higher speed in nasty conditions, then boat brand consideration comes into play, if the two above points are something some one is looking for in a boat, then I hate to tell you this but his two choises are probably the worst in the boat industry.

yes you are right..20I's are probably the worst ride in the industry. damn im screwed. FYI my best friend has a 06 basscat, dad had a 20ft gambler up until this year, another great friend has a 20'3 champion (the older great rough water ride boats), tournament partner has a 20ft cobra, good friend has an 07 Z20 ranger and owned a TR20 for two years..you are right..its no comparison to these rigs. Oh and to boggle your mind more..my choice boat is a 21 Ranger Z.

No wait better yet...i guess KVD, Iac, and the rest of the crew better get good chiropractors right stephen?

Yeah ANY boat on the planet will "work" in rough water but some are better at navigating rough water and not getting beat to death or as wet. flag

I sure wouldnt take what a pro is riding in during the tourney season as the best boat....that is who they got the best deal from.

Hey my opinion of Champion is unbiased...I do not own a champion, do not own stock in champion, and am not affiliated or sponsored by champion. So what is the problem of an un biased comment about Champion boats????

So what would you guys choose between a 20i or Z20? who_knows

Seems to me that the options were a 20i or Z20. I have read the entire thread three times and can't find another boat the poster was asking about.

God Bless,
Stephen

I would pick the prettiest one. grin

Plus I'd have Fun 'n' Sun run them head to head on the same lake on the same day.

Then fish out of them too!!
