I'm heading down to Port Arthur this weekend. Wondering if the flounders are still around Pleasure Island or is fishing any good this time?

Hey hungt,
I haven't talked with anyone down there in the last couple days but the flounder were in there about 3 weeks ago....so I would think it may have slowed some. The last report I got from there was 12/17 and the guys were catching alot of flounder at the cut from Keith lake into the ship channel...but a lot of them were males and too small...I have also heard that the causeway was good for the big ones if you catch an outgoing tide around day break. Good luck and maybe I'll see you down there sometime.
