Either way nice catch, I was wanting to get out to a place that is stocked to catch me a few. I just dont know where they stock them at.
can't catch fish if you arent at the lake...go fish!!!

They have the list of the stockings on TPWD website. They are excellent to eat---not in the Trinity long enough to be bad for you. Gregs secret bait is nightcrawlers.

Can anyone send me directions of where the stock them in the trinity river area? Are they able to go anywhere in the River, or is in a confined area of where they are?
can't catch fish if you arent at the lake...go fish!!!

NightCrawlers? really? I've always had the best luck with the small colored (pink works best)marshmallows dipped in sardine paste. The marshmallows naturally have the right bouyancy to keep the bait off the bottom and the trout love sardine paste. P-19_  <"{{{><
