The GWB toll road charges me $2.25 for each booth I go thru.
I have a dual axle trailer.
I don't have a toll tag.I very seldom use the GWB (190) toll road. It's just a faster route to Ray Roberts.
If you ask me it's all a ripoff.

I found that out the hard way when I pulled my empty flatbed through the toll booth and paid. They charged me extra (as if the empty trailer wore out the toll road). What a scam toll roads are!

I pay 8 dollars each way in tolls 5 days a week. Plus a LOT of gas in my SUV. For them to charge you again for the boat is a crime. I will not recommend this but i know someone who did recommend it to me. He uses the spray. He pays nothing and drives the same route I do to work. Put it just on your boat plate and you only pay for the car. http://phantomplate.com/

We have a seperate toll tag for our boat trailer (3 axle) we just keep it in the truck and have never had an issue. That's how they told me to do it.

When I got my tolltag the lady told me that when I'm pulling the boat, take my EZ Tag off and put it back in that aluminum wrapper that it comes in and just drive through the attendant lane and pay the fee. That will prevent the system from scanning it.
I am way too lazy for that so I just cruise through the EZ Tag lanes. Haven't got a letter yet.

I got charged for my truck, but not my boat when directed by a police officer to use a short strip of 190. There had been an auto accident on the frontage road that I usually use. Hmmmm. get charged to do what a police officer tells me to do and they didn't even get it right. Think I'll stay on the frotage roads, too many uncertain variables on the toll roads.
He leadeth me beside still waters.

I only use the toll roads for work. Company supplies the tag. Toll roads are a big rip off.

I don't pull my boat on the toll roads much, but when I do I drive through the Toll Tag Only lanes and have never had a problem. I guess I've just been lucky. Funny story about trucks on the toll roads.... My youngest daughter is still in high school, and plays in the band. I'm one of the band dads that volunteers time, I'm responsible for getting a crew together to load the 18 wheeler and get the equipment to the contests and football games. Back in October we had a marching contest in Frisco, and we took toll roads most of the way from Arlington to the contest site. I had a jar full of quarters, and we went through the Exact Change lane at every toll booth. The alarm kept going off as we pulled away each time, but we did not know why. It was at the last booth in Frisco that we noticed the small sign they have posted that lists the fees for additional axles. It seems instead of paying $1 we should have been paying $4 at each stop. I told the head band director he might be getting a letter from the NTTA.
