Mark C, they were at around 20 foot again, quite a few spots we found at 40 with lots of fish, but could not get them to bite. But when we found the Hybrids then fish finder screen was glowing. but just drifting 30 feet nothing, all focused in one area. Glad I did not stay in to watch the Cowboys, nearly did but what a beautiful day to fish. A bit cool across the water but great while fishing. You don't get many days like yesterday in December on Lake Lewisville.

I was out there too. Spoke with another angler in a Skeeter, was it you? Anyway, we saw several big schools down around 20 feet but couldn't get them to bite. Birds were going nuts all over the place.

We were in a Trophy Center Console. We found that is you were offering the slabs vertical they would not take. I was casting beyond the school of fish, letting it drop and then slowly reel it in, this was the only way they would hit. I was using a 1oz chrome plated slab and they hit that really good.

I agree with the birds, 100's of them.
