I have a 200 HP Mariner XRI EFI, I know the EFI means electronic fuel injection but what is XRI

the XRI means it's a fuel injected motor. i=injected.
the XR6 is a large case carbed engine.
the XR4 is a small case carbed engine.

what year is it? I had a 200 xri efi on my old 1994 champion 190. out of all motors I have ever owned this was by far the best one.

you got that right Mike.
I used to own a 200 EFI on a 191 elite champion. Best engine i've ever had. i turned that motor to 6200 rpms all day long. Stout lil' booger.
course my current bridgeport will turn 8400. and has not given me any problems either.

it is a 1993 but I don't even let it past 5400 RPM and feel bad when I do....lol, steve, that must have been some speed bug that bit you probably the size of a 20 foot bullet.

Yeah, he's ruint! that bug still has me too. only had this one a couple of months. now want to go faster. After i rode in the new 21XRD with 300XS and hit 100.3 that's what got me. That boat is still for sale at Sartin Marine. That dude is bad arse!! Ride is like a dream. much smoother than i ever expected. when the wind starts trying to wrap your cheeks around your ears, you now your moving!!!

And if you come out of that boat going that fast, the water will be like concrete when you hit it. well all i can say is, driving across dallas is WAY more dangerous than me driving my boat at 85 or a 21xrd at 100.
