Yesterday I took my son to meet with Barry Stokes of Fox's Southwest Outdoors Report to be a co-host of the show this week. Barry and his camera man treated my son really well (he is 7 yrs old)Fishing with a young boy can be trying but they were great!

The show airs this Thursday at 10:30 pm right after the Southwest Sports Report. Should be fun to watch, at one time during the taping my son had out caught Barry 6 to 4.

They were fishing a small American Bass Club lake about 15 miles south of Ranger. My son asked when we were going back to tape another show, I told him he wasn't a regular and this was a one time special event.

evv59, locally on Cox cable it is channel 33, I have no idea what channel it would be in your area, but it is on one of the fox channels, here it comes on the same channel as the best damn sports show and the southwest sports report that covers local high school and college football.

I posted over in the Bass section too, but I got his son's autograph when he got picked for Titan of the Week... now that has tripled in value!!

We have been riding his son pretty high and this little guy is pretty pumped.... he is now the resident pro!!

The station decided to carry one hour of post game coverage of the Astros loss last night and bumped the outdoor report back an hour, then the show started part way through. I was losing my religion!

Bright side is it runs again early the next morning and they had the whole show and I did get it on tape for my son's memories. Calm down dad!! Last night I thought I was going to pop a vein in my neck everytime they extended the post game $*#*#@!!!

I never liked baseball anyway!

I tried to watch but got way past my bedtime, 4:15AM came way to fast for me to wait. Congrads to the son and I would have been as proud as you are if it was my son.
