I have it on good authority, that a TFF'er, walking back to his car last night from a local creek, while carrying a bag with some big crappie in it, found himself face to face with a Bobcat!

You can keep those encounters Rudy. I do not mind seeing them if I am in my vehicle but I do not want a face to face on the path with him.

He's just hungry. We feed him every morning after we top off our squad cars on Goforth. He hides in the woods across from the horse stalls. He loves 7/11 hotdogs. And better the hotdogs than the peacocks he was feeding on. I assume it's the same one were talkin about, but I bet theres dozens more at White Rock.....

That is probably the one, although, like you said those woods are ful of 'em. It was in the wrc greenbelt.

around 8ish in the morning we saw a coyote at buckner/ mockingbird on 2 separate occasions in april ...it was standing just a few yards off the road ...it didnt look right, could have been rabid

I saw one a few years ago while riding my bike in Plano. He was walking around a couple of yards away from people walking on the bike trails. He was minding his own business. It's just kind of funny to see them in town.

FYI....those that fish the JPL creeks ....there are bobcats in and around that whole area "lake".....also one creek has an abundant population of wild little piggies...
