I continue to have intermittent noise on my Humminbird sonar. This unit is mounted on the bow of the boat with the tranducer mounted externally on the MinnKota TM. Looking for suggestions on how to isolate the source of the noise and fix it. Thanks.

keep the wires away from each other and run them off seperate batteries. you might even try "shielded" wires from Radio Shack for your power wires to the the graph. I thnk a bad trolling motor battery can also send too much current into the water -
Stan Browning and Jason Tidwell both had thier props become discolored from current from the trolling motor into the water.

Guy, run a wire from the negative on the engine battery to the TM shaft. That makes a huge difference on mine.
