How well do these work in deeper water, say 30-60 feet? It seems that they would lose some detail the deeper the water. I guess it would depend on the angle of the signal from the transducer.

better in that depth range.. the beam shoots out further to the sides. in 10' or less, theres not much rooom to shoot out- thats where you really have to learn to adjust the settings... I am still learning...
