I made it to my fishing spot on the Yegua just after 10AM and fished until 2PM before heading back to Nails Creek State Park to clean the fish. From there I decided to check out Birch Creek State Park on the other side of the lake to look for deer. It was a great day from start to finish! Photographing a bobcat in broad daylight is a once in a lifetime thing and I probably could not do it again if I tried!

Nice pictures! A very rich wildlife day for sure...amazing. Some are "postcard" quality. What camera did you use?
I'm about ready to upgrade mine.

Thanks for sharing!

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Cool Pics! It's like a drive thru Hagerman National Wildife Refuge.
