Took the guy across the street yesterday. NE 5-10 mph 62 deg H2O.
Saw a bald eagle feeding about 300 yds north of the lighthouse.
The gulls have returned: a group of little birds and just a handful of
bigger birds. I let him fish. He caught 6 med sandys,
a 3 lb hybrid, and 2 green trout. I watched "MO" motor over to
towards Brookshires - looked like some little birds gliding
around over there. Perhaps Mid-December will be better after
the lake recovers from this 37 deg rain event.

The Ledbetter Legend.

I an eagle working also, it was S/east of the horsefarm.
Found nothing at Brookshires, I caught a few on the east
side down by the dam late friday. The birds were milling
about but the fish were scattered and moving.
Good luck

I didn't get to fish this last weekend but as I was standing on the end of my uncle's dock on Friday, I saw a small group of birds working fish just south of the mouth of Ledbetter. They stayed there for about 10 minutes and moved on. Hitting the water good. Windy and cold standing on the dock. No boats under the birds.

Caught 65 SB and 5 hybrids near 155 bridge in wqater 13' to 18' on slabs and blade baits. This was from 9 til noon. Went back out later in day and caught 5 more hybrids and lot less sb. Hybrids were schooling at mouth of Saline at dusk, under birds. They were hitting a bone super spook better than any sub surface bait. There are quite alot of birds mid lake during the day, they did not circle on anything til near sunset.

Palestine.
BTW, In the main lake part of Saline, on the SE side, there is a long ridge that has worked well for me in the past.
