I lived in S.E. Idaho for 14 years and LOVED it. I've seen [and taken] my fair share of [wild] big game. Mule deer, elk, moose, ram, bear, 10+ lbs rainbows, etc. It's a wonderful place for the outdoorsman/woman.

And for those that say it's tough to make a living... very true (at least in the fields popular down here)! The big companies from silicon valley have found that they can open up shops or recruit techies from the Idaho area at 1/4 to 1/2 the price they have to pay people in Kali. Boise is a BIG technology city yet the average income is around $50,000.
