Fished 11-9 on the south side from 10:30 to 2:30 and pulled one dink from shallow cover and 4 non-keepers from a boat dock off the main lake. The only keeper got hung in a tree and after about 3 minutes worked himself off. Beautiful day!

I hope the change in weather will make the bite pick up. Forecast calls for some rain but with unseasonally warm temperatures.

Fished Conroe on 11/11, the Sunday morning tourney out of Stowaway. I had real good numbers, catching 15 from 6:30 - noon, but only 2 over 16 inches.

Winning stringer was 5 for 19 something and second was 5 for 19 something less

bassmaster - do you mind asking what kind of patterns you guys were working? I was up in the grass in Little Lake Creek throwing wacky worms, but nothing with any size

We did much better Friday 11/09 than the previous week. The fish were pretty active as long as it was overcast. We caught 22 of which only 3 were keepers, but I caught one good one, close to 5lb. I also lost one good fish on a frog in the grass. 90% of our fish came by skipping soft plastics way up under boat docks.
The fish were pretty far back, but we had some fun. We caught 5 off one boat dock on a house that was under construction. We put on a clinic for the guys building the house.

Went catfishing the 12th-14th and caught a decent mess of fish. Caught one of 33 lbs, 11 ounces and released. The rest were from 1 to 7 lbs. The fish were fat from shad. The bite was slow, but like I stated, ended up with seven quarts of filets. Spoke with several bass fishermen and they said that most were running small with a larger one on occasions. Surface water temperature was 72 degrees. Did not speak to anyone crappie fishing so no report on that.

Fish are scattered both shallow and deep, the shad have started moving out of the back of the creeks. and hard too find. I caught a 7lb 13oz 11-17 and a bunch of small fish.
