More specifically, the trailer bunk boards and wheel wells. I had a bunk board come off and need to replace them all. It is almost ready to go, but I started wondering about the carpet. I bought sone indoor/outdoor carpet but am wondering if I should have gone with marine carpet instead. Opinions?

The marine carpet is probably thicker and will wear better.

I would go with the marine carpet myself. On my other boat and trailer I tried the indoor outdoor carpet and it seemed I was replacing it every other year until I went to the marine carpet and marine plywood. Never changed it again before I sold the boat. I am fixing to replace the carpet, runners and plywood on my skeeter and will definately go back with all marine type material.

Academy or Bass Pro Shops has precut strips of marine carpet made for bunk boards. They will last much longer than just indoor/outdoor carpet and you will not have to trim them. I did mine at the lake while the boat was beached. Took about an hour.

God Bless,
Stephen

Thanks, guys-that's what I figured-go with the marine carpet.
