DBman when i say a "freak" i am talking about his horns.
as you can see his left side looks normal. his right side as you can see looks just be his beam and a brow tine. that is why i would consider him a "freak" or a "cull".

TB when i say 4.5 or 5.5 i am talking about the age.

FT, F4F i am shooting a 243.

Well I went out last night after the fire station metting. Store was out of minows but I had worms and some dead shad. As I talked to my wife and she said the weather station said no rain and a little while later it started to pour down rain. Luckly I was fishing at TLP and parked at TLP so it was not far to go. But still got soaked.

I got a hook wet and a myself wet.

YC,

The no fork on one side makes him legal as a spike deer. Brow tines do not count. I believe that all the counties with the 13" minimum have a two buck limit with one buck required to be a spike or have a non-forked antler. You ought to take him out of the herd to get rid of the faulty genes. Will make good sausage fork or no fork. Good hunting.

yea i want him out becasue of the bad genitics.
i thought the law with the unforked buck was just 1 point on one side.
i thought if he had a brow tine he would be illagal.

YC, just make sure you shoot deer better than dove. Quick kill and don't get buck shy.

Thumpmeister, the crappie bite was fast and furious at the dock today from one half hour before day light until 10am when the bite shut off. It seems that everyone was using various color jigs and all caught plenty of fish. The back well produced best today and the biggest fish came from there. My freezer is slowly filling with crappie.
