I suggest a Dobyns 735 for a frog rod just got one about a month ago and have been rippin some serious heads on it most frog rods will wear you out through the course of the day but this one is a little on the abnormal side it won't wear you out this rod retails for around 169

Depends on what type frog for me. I prefer a 7'6" H for horny toads, ribbits, bull ribbits ect... ones with a offset hook. Spro type frogs I prefer a 7' MH.

I would suggest a Dobyns rod as well. These rods are VERY powerful and are just great for frogs, if you get the right one. Any rod from the 704c to the 765 would be great for frogs in my opinion. These rods range from 7'0" - 7'6" in length and from 4-5 power. It just depends on what kind of frogging you plan on doing and what type of cover you're going to be fishing around. If you're in the heaviest of stuff, I would suggest something in the 7'3"-7'6" range and in the 5 power for that. But if you're more in open water or sparse grass/cover, I would say something in the 4 power, length in your own preference, for that. These rods are just awesome! I got my first a while back and have been in heaven ever since. I have mine paired with a TDA-HSTA with 50# braid usually, makes for an AWESOME frog setup! Check em out for yourself... www.dobynsrods.comJustin

American Eagle Rods in a 7'3"H or 7'6"H for long range; a 6'0"H for close up work around docks, laydowns, etc.

Mark, who did they get? Rojas??? Ive got the Daiwa T&L Frog rod, its a nice rod but I use it more for Crigging than anything! Matter of fact I will sell it when my new Hendrix gets here Falcon signed Bobby Barrack one of the frog gurus on the West Coast. His new signature Cara T& series rod should be available in a few weeks. I use a Falcon Cara Reaction CCB-6-174HC Heavy Cover rod mostly for frogs. It also doubles as a good swimbait rod too. Have not found anything I like better yet.

just make sure its LONG, LIGHTWEIGHT, and HEAVY so you can get them out of the junk. My 7'10" St Croix wears me out after a few hours....
