I purchased the new 08 Navionics card and installed it but I'm not seeing any detail. I have the X25c unit. I posted in the General Equipment Discussion section with more details. Please help. I'm thinking I also need a blank card to put in the unit too. This is my first map card so I have ZERO experience with this stuff.

in Lowrance, you need to go into the GPS screen... then menu, and choose the correct map...

You will have to go through the browser and select the area of TX you are in to get those maps.

Alright, it is a SD/MMC card. I've gone into the MMC files under the map menu and then found the Ntx (North Texas??) file and selected it. Next choice is either copy or delete that file. I chose copy, but then it said I needed another MMC card in the other slot. So to use this map card, do I need a blank card also? Or am I still missing something? Thanks a lot guys, I sure appreciate the help.

Install your Navionics card into card department and turn the unit on. From the Map Page press menu scroll down to Map Data press enter select Map Choice press enter and select the Navionics card from the dropdown menu press enter exit exit.

Debra is correct. Choose the file in the "Map Data" option, not the "Browse MMC Files". I think there is security to prevent copying Navionics files.

does not matter which slot.. the unit will find the mapping software.

If you try to copy Navionics software, it will self destruct/crash the chip.

Oh Yeah. THANK YALL VERY MUCH!!!! I worked last night and did not get a chance to read the forum before I went fishing this morning, I sure wished I would have. I just tinkered with it for a minute, now I'm fired up to go back out in the morning and try it out. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
