I have a 03 200 mercury xr6. This morning I took it out and the alarm went off. What would cause that.Oil injection not working? Are could it be water in the fuel? Can I get rid of the oil injection and just mix my fuel?Any help would be appreciated.

You have 2 different alarms. Was it the oil or water alarm? The first thing I'd do is check the oil res. on the engine. Last week my friends kept going off and the pump didn't quite fill the tank. He put some in to top of the tank and all has been well since.
Also an engine of that age should have a new water pump if you haven't done it yet.
And yes you can disable the oil pump and mix your own if you want the hassel.

Could be either one. Remove the filter and dump the contents into a jar. You'll be able to tell if it has water in it. I bet that's the problem.
You can do away with the oil injection and premix if you want. I'm not sure how to do it but I'm sure someone on here does. I don't think it's a good idea on a later model motor like yours.
