Whites and Hybrids are scattered and fishing is a bit tough. I had a four person party out today and we kept 70 nice Whites and had no Hybrids. All fish came on Glitter Shad Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com )in 25'-30' water. Pelican Island has held a few fish everyday this week, but I'm having to burn a lot of gas to find a box full. You can rule out the Windsock Point, 309 Flats and the Roadbeds. No keeper fish have been on them for a couple of weeks. Hate to sound negative, but the fish aren't in the normal Fall locations yet.

On the other hand, Crappie have been good. Fish the timber in 20' or less. If you have brushpiles, you can load the box. Minnows and Jigs work equally well.

Got Weekday openings In November if anyone is interested in learning how to catch fish when it's a bit tough. You really have to know how to use your Electronics as the fish are scattered and hugging the bottom, but catchable.

I had a Full Day Trip with three Arlington Regulars and Adam conducted two Trips yesterday. Fish were still not as concentrated as you would hope for the Fall, but they are BIG! My boat kept their limit (75) of Quality Whites and we had one Keeper Hybrid and a couple of 17" fish. Adam limited on Whites (50) in the Morning, and had two fish shy of a limit in the Afternoon. He also had one Keeper Hybrid for the day. All fish on RSR Glitter Shad Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) in 25'-35' water in various areas. Pelican Island was good early ( 7:30AM-9AM) and then we hit Points & Humps the remainder of the day. Fish are still on the move and you may catch 10-15 and then they're gone. You also can use your Electronics to find small Schools on the sides of Points and Humps and pick up quite a few fish.

The larger fish are showing up now, and it will only get easier and better as we get into cooler weather. The Gulls are showing up, but none are working as the fish aren't pushing shad yet.

We have some Weekday openings this month, and we have one Boat open the Friday Morning after T'Giving, and both Boats open Saturday Morning after T'Giving. We're also conducting Afternoon Trips all Fall and Winter. Give us a call at 903-389-4117 and get in on the action.

Adam is still on some Brushpile Crappie for those wanting to do some Crappie and White Bass Fishing!
