Has anyone fished Granger recently? My girlfriend and I are going to be camping at Fox Sat night and plan on fishing. We have been fishing the pier and doing pretty good. This was before the cold front though so I am not sure if they will still be biting. We plan on fishing Sat afternoon till an hour or two after dark depending if they are biting. Will also fish Sunday morning and afternoon. Any forum members out on lake swing by the pier and say hi.
Thanks,
Ruben

Hey Bandit,
I will be giving it a shot tomorrow from 9a.m. to late afternoon.
We caught 24 keepers last Sunday before front on brush piles.
Not sure as to what to expect tomorrow since the fish generally tend to leave the brush piles this time of year.
I fish in a blue stratos boat with a 90 evinrude.
Will give ya a shout and say hello when I get out there to see if you are having any luck.

I'm always in a good mood when I'm fishing.

Hey Kooby,
I will keep an eye out for you. I won't be out there till 10 or 11 though. I am fixing to go to work and won't get out till midnight. Fox is a little over an hour drive from my house and I have a couple things to do in the morning. Good luck and save me some keepers.

I'll see you all out there tomorrow. I'll swing by the pier and say hey Ruben. I'll see you out on the lake Kooby. Proabably gonna start out on the brush piles that are in 20 feet of water and then go from there. See you there. Anyone have any reports from the week?

I take it from Ruben's posts that the pier at Fox Park is now open? The Corps website says it is still closed. I am just now getting back into fishing, and I am looking forward to catching some crappie on Granger soon. For reference, my dad and I used to catch tons of Sandies on Lake Ray Hubbard under the bridges when I was a kid. Loved it then, and I know I'll love it again.

Mark, welcome to the area. The pier is open @ Granger. The fishing ought to be pretty good on it. It has been good everywhere else on the lake.

Keep on fishing.
