Now that I'm living in Waco periodically I will need work on my Skeeter/Yamaha or if I'm really really nice to my wife I may get to shop for a new Skeeter. I'm not trying to stir the pot , just looking for some useful input. Dealerships are all different but if you can find a good one close to home you're certainly ahead in the game.

Bought a new SX200 in March '06 there and was good experience.Also had periodic upkeep done there and have had no problems. Have been in business for many years, so are experienced. Good luck.

Hey there dtp807.You might also try Central Texas Marine @6514 S. I 35. I used to work there and my brother still works there. They are not a skeeter dealer though. They mainly deal in Basscat and Triton, but can fix you up with anything you need. My brother is also a certified Yamaha 2&4 stroke tech,along with Mercury 2&4 stroke. Give them a try!! Not to mention that they are normally cheaper and can get you out quicker than most shops.

yowells is a good dealership and central texas marine is good to. but i heard specialty marine right beside marine land boating center(waco yamaha) is very good and very cheap.

The thing I was really impressed with was the service after the sale, VERY GOOD, thumbs up all the way!!!!

I've shopped around the last few years around the waco area, and marine outlet in temple has the best prices, didn't know specialty marine in waco sold boats at all.

I have a few friends that have bought from Yowell's and have had very good service there. Specialty Marine is a Mercury warrenty and service dealer, mainly. I wouldn't have a problem with Yowell's.
