As mentioned above.....go REVO. Bought one a couple of months ago and haven't put it down since. Nice reel at a good price.

Don't flip that Quarter, spend it on a REVO! ANYTHING this good requires some fine tuning. These reels are excellent, and I cannot find anything wrong with them. Or my other 12 Abu's.....

You can save some money by buying the Revo SC. They are still on clearance at Cabelas for $79.95. It is a 7.1:1 reel, otherwise is a cross between the Revo S and SX, some features from both. The sign will say $129, but you can scan and it will still scan $79.95. Just a thought, personally I would go with the Citica.

I have Daiwa reels that are 20 years old that still work great for the grandkids. I have been up-grading all my rods and reels with more Daiwas. I bought a Daiwa Tierra 153H for my son for right at $100 and it preforms as well as some of my $200- $350 reels. It is just a little bit heavier.

I work at Cabelas and we have the Revo SC on sale for $79. They are regularly $129. These are Revos that are made only for Cabelas. They have a 7.1 to 1 gear ratio. For your gift card and a few more bucks you could get 2 of them. One other thing. Right now if you get a Cabelas Club Card (Visa) you get $15 off your first ($30 if you bring your wife)purchase and another $30 off any purchase over $100 made on your card. I work there and this is about as good a deal as we make.

The daiwa Tierra. Great reel. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templa...&hasJS=trueYou might also ask when they will be getting the new ABU's. Black Max, Pro Max and Silver Max. They are out every place on the web. Daiwa also has the new Strike Force. All great prices. That meens you could probably get 2 reels.
