Good!!!! Not wearing a seat belt could keep a driver from being able to have any control at all over his or her vehicle in a dangerous situation, thereby endangering the lives of others.

There is a solution to the "problem". That solution is to buckle up. smile

$225 for no seatbelt is cheap compared to the price of loosing you life and your family having to pay for the cost of your funeral and then wait till the insurance company stop denying their claim even though your dead and gone.

A fine of $250.00 for not wearing a sear belt is getting off easy to me, especially when children are standing and running around in the back seats not buckled in.... mad

I see it almost everyday and the police are as guilty as everyone else as they see it and turn their head... frown

When children go through the windshield and get thrown from cars their chances for survival are slim to none... These parents (and I use that word loosely) need to be fined a minimum of $500.00, make it hurt as who can afford the alternative!!!!

We need to start turning policemen in that see this and also are to blame for lack of iniative and "not" doing their job.... If they say they did not see it, then they need to become more observant.... Which is definitely a part of their job...

FYI If you fish in the State Park Lakes, you don't have to have a fishing license. Just a thought if you have an out of town guest. I think this program ends next September

The program is extended 1 year more and is basically fishing the bank (inside tha Park), normally a State Park do not extended the whole lake.

I knew a guy whose 4 year old daughter died because she was not wearing a seat belt. The other people in the car got off with just a few scratches. I think he would pay all the money he has to his name to get his baby back. frown

THIS IS FOR NATS scared scared

One morning a husband returns to his lake cabin after several hours of
fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake,
his wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short
distance, anchors, and reads her book, enjoying the peace and quiet.

Along comes a game warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman
and says, "Good morning Ma'am. What are you doing?"

"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")

"You're in a restricted fishing area," he informs her.

"I'm sorry officer, but I'm not fishing, I'm reading."

"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at
any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."

"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the
woman.

"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.

"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could
start at any moment."

"Have a nice day ma'am", and he left.

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also
think.

I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!

".... headed back out to Grapevine where we met up with the Carp Brigade who were fishing at the cliffs,Game warden pulled his boat up on the bank and checked all of them."

Seems I remember about a month ago someone complaining about wardens not observing the no wake law on their jet skis at the cliffs and they wanted to know who they should report this to....makes you wonder. Maybe they got the messsage.
