I have somewhere between a 1975-78 Jeep CJ5. The fuel tank has dismounted form the body. All of the lines are still in tact(fuel pump etc...) What would be the best way to remount the fuel tank. Would self tapping screws be the best bet, straps, etc...

Thanks in advance cheers

Straps with some sort of rubber insulation would work. Don't use self tapping screws, use a bolt/nut with flat and lock washers.

i would not know how to mount it.
but i would say a bolt would work best.
if you are driving on gravel/bumpy roads the self tapping screw may back out.
use a lockwasher and a bolt and nut and it aint going anywhere.
