My daughter turned 4 months today. She's already showing signs of wanting to go fishing. She lights up whenever she sees a picture of a hybrid or a striper. She also loves to sit in daddy's boat!!!! Maybe I'll be buying her rods reels and lures instead of dresses, shoes, and barbie dolls!!!!

had a 4" bluegill on the barbie pole this morning. it was hooked through the back though instead of the lips

I got my daughter a fishing pole for her birthday when she was two or three and she still fishes with me now at 17.

Looking forward to the same thing. The wife and I are expecting our first kiddo (girl) in Feb. She'll have a fishing pole before her feet hit the ground. She already has a Bow, and 22 rifle waiting for her.

You my friend, are "hooked"! Ain't it great! Next best thing to a grandaughter!
Bought my 3 year old grandaughter one of those toy poles with a reel, string, and magnetic fish. Everytime she stays over, she wants Memaw to let her take a bath in the master bath and she has to take her "string pole and fish" with her. Won't be long til she and the grandson are fighting over who gets the extra seat in the boat......
