Just thought I would let everyone know what I have been hearing, just so y'all can be on the safe side.

The company that is running the power lines to the new pump station, is suppose to be bringing the barge out to the lake Thur. From what I have heard it is pretty big. They are suppose to put towers up from somewhere around the Lake Fork Water Supply on 515, across to Williams. They are suppose to be using a big helicopter to actually run the lines across the lake.

As I said this is what I've heard, and there are a lot of supposes in there, but just wanted y'all to be aware it is going to happen soon, and want y'all to be safe when it does, even if it might be hearsay right now!

Sure gonna muddy up that part of the lake, when they start setting those towers. Seems like it would be easier to sink the cables to the bottom, and put power line warning bouys up, stating no achoring in this area.

And those high power aerial lines add so much more to the scenery . . .

Just wondering....does the magnetic field produced by high power lines effect the fishing?
I've seen videos of people standing under power lines, holding florescent bulbs what lit up. If that is true, what would it do to the fish?

Updated info. The company subcontracted to send the barge to set the pillars backed out, now they are tring to get another contractor. Found out today that they are going to set 3 pillars in the lake. You can see the towers running south of 515 to the point, where they will go into the lake. 1 tower will be 185' tall and the other 2 will be about 170' tall. The pillars are going to sit in about 50' deep water, and will be planted 150' into the bottom. They are going to sit the towers on the pillars with helicopters, once the barge gets here and puts the pillars in.
