Got a nice bunch of crappie this evening on Toledo. 22', but the crappie were around 10'. I had been seeing these fish for around 3 weeks on the Lowrance and, verified they were crappie with an aqua view, but only catching very few on jigs. No luck keeping minnows alive, so I bought a Grayline $400 minnow bucket. It works great! No dead minnows at all and plenty of crappie in the livewell.

Sorry no pics, this site is just not friendly to posting pics.

I don't think I've caught any stripers, but I do catch hybrids on hellpets. I have one spot I can pull a hellpet thru and catch a fish nearly every pass.

I guess I don't know if those big stripers are still in here.

TB still has stripers just not as many as it use to. Most foks will also agree that the 20+lb fish are no longer there.

Could've save ya some money on the aireator/minner bucket by buying one of each at any Wal-Mart, Cabela's, BassPro, or Academny and maybe paid $30 dollars total, or for two, $60 (one for each you and your partner).

Though I don't own a boat yet, I have a trolling minner bucket with a portable aireator that takes 2 D batteries (I use Duracell and they last for a year or two before running down) and has a metal clip that I attach to the handle of the minner bucket.

Works like a charm and my minners never die and are always spunky. That being said, congrats on the catch!
