Any type of citrus juice. Lemons and limes work the best, but orange will do the trick too. I've been told that the acid in the citrus neutralizes the smell, but I don't know if that is true.

Only problem with this method is that my wife gets really mad when I steal the lime off her Corona.

I have a Wonderbar and I have never thought it made any difference. You wash your hands in water and rub the magic bar on your hands. I think the only reason my hands ever smelled better was from the water. I now use the only thing I have ever found that really works for me, which is Lava bar soap. You have to get the slime off your hands or you are only covering the smell and Lava will do it.

Mint toothpaste at home. I use for all scents on the water, gas also. A product made by Lindy. Soap deoderizer that works real well. I buy it at Cabela's.

It's been in the water since Eve took a bath in the Nile and it we've been trying to get rid of it for 2000 years. Get used to it.......

Never used the wonderbar, I've always used lemons. Guess I'll have to try the bar for myself.

I've got the bar, and can't tell that it really works.

Have always used lemon, salt, or diluted bleach. Salt and bleach do the same thing- dissociate to Chlorine. Only use bleach when you really smell fishy, cuz then you have to deal with the bleach smell.

Somebody might tear a lower unit up out there, if you threw it away.

I tried the wonderbar and it did not do anything to get rid of the fish smell. I carry a little bottle of the alcohol gel hand sanitizer in my truck. It works pretty well and kills germs to boot! When I get home I use a bit of tide powder and wash my hands. That takes care of the fish and more importantly the kickin bass crawfish or garlic smell.
