bassmaster and Inside Line. Inside line does like to promote their baits in their articles but it is very informative non-the-less.

I've got a bunch of old ones that you can just scratch the dates off and write in the current date. Most of the content will be the same.

I'll even charge you for them so you can feel like you're buying a subscription.

For the trucks try Sport Truck magazine. It is great.

Honey Hole!

I abandoned my subscriptions to a bunch of other worthless fishin' mags (In-Fisherman, Texas Fish & Game) a few years back.

Bassin'looks good, BassMaster's full of too many ads.

Cheers to all!

Carpaholic..

You need to check out the new carp mag in the UK "Carp Addict". Really well written. Kind of along the lines of Big Carp and Crafty Carper. I've got an issue or two I'll try to bring down to the TX fishing show..;-)

BASSMASTER, BASSTIMES.

I have BASSMASTER magazines in my "library" from 1983 (skipped year 1985 when I let my subscription expire by accident).

I have Honey Hole magazines in my "library" from 1988 through 2002. Those are great resources when going to a new lake and if they wrote up lake reports over the years you can get tons of information. You also learn that way that most writers cut and paste from last year's report!

I have BassProShops Master Catalogs in my "liberary" every year from 1988. Matter of fact just got the 2005 version today, so I'll be adding the 2004 version to my files.

Most of you will think I'm crazy, but it sure is neat every now and then to go back and read through those old magazines and see the clothes guys would fish in and the hats they'd wear! 20 years from now someone will be telling us we dressed silly in 2004! Back then all they used was spinnerbaits and jigs anyway, was no such thing as creature baits and Senkos and Flukes.

Bassmaster, bassin, and bass and walley boats. I like the bass and walley boats to see what updates and performance mods on these newer boats. Also good tips with older boats too.
