If plans work right, I should be out sometime over the weekend. I may sneak out during the week like I have been doing. I don't want to fish just on the weekends during our last real month of crappie fishing. I want to take advantage of any good weather during the week when they pop up. Of coarse my fishing plans are subject to change due to weather & wife... wink

Thanks for the heads up TB.

Getting about that time to start to get some stronger northern winds coming thru. About that time, I switch to fishing G-Town. It is better protected from the mean northern winds then Granger.

Thanks for the pics Sabot! Those are awesome! Man, I gotta get me one of those Humminbird SI units! I can see how it could be VERY useful!

Thanks!

I normally dont take snap shots any more but I couldnt resist since these objects show up really well. I am not surprised that I am seeing more of the Si units on Granger. I am guessing they are starting to show up on other lakes as well. I figure in a year or two year, a 1/3 of the anglers will have them. I bet Santa is surprised what is on many fathers lists this year.

The technology removes the cloak of secrecy which allows the anglers to see what is really down below. In just my limited time on the water (less then 2 months/weekend warrior) I have collected and verified over 80 structures. Just think of what a hard core angler who spends a lot of time on Granger can find.
