I was wondering how to most of you dispose of the leftovers after cleaning fish? This is mainly aimed at those that clean them at home. I live in the city and found that putting the guts in the trash just does not work (too long between pickups!).

I just bag em up and put em in the freezer til pick up day and drop em in the can on the way out to get the paper that morning.
Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

Pick up some small empty boxes and place a trash bag inside to line the box. Clean your fish and place the carcass into the bag. When your through stuff it into the box and place the box into the freezer. Trash day you have a nice little package for the trash man to pick up.
If you have a liquor store near you, those boxes that the booze comes in are perfect size for this. I don't drink, but the neighbors think I buy my booze by the case.

If you fish any at all DONT BURY THEM anywhere near your house. If you use too much it will burn your garden and stink like He77!

Throw it off the bluff out back of the house a 100 yds or so. feeds the critters!
Keep your powder dry & don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!!
