Took my wife and kiddos to the Vine yesterday. Took our time and got on the water about 9:30 A.M. Right off I noticed we seemed to have a hydrolic steering problem but we're giving it a shot anyhow. Ran across to Murrell and in a few minutes found fish on the edge of a hump that came up from 34 to 26 ft. of water. We dropped slabs to them and the drill was on. Caught a whole lot of 7 to 10 in. fish but once you could punch through them there were much nicer fish near the bottom. We only brought home 9 for supper. Let about 40 go to grow up some more. At one time my wife caught what looked like the same fish over and over, about 5 in. long. She did however catch the only LMB. I told her to get that thing out of my boat. "hehehe" Well that school dispersed and we went looking for more but the steering problem seemed to be getting worse so we headed in. Way too short of a trip but still a great time had by all. I have never attempted to post pics before but my daughter is going to try and help me with this so stand by for pics. We'll do our best.
